SAP has released a demonstration environment for Fiori that is connected to an ERP system in the cloud which allows business users to get a sense of how the various Fiori applications behave.

Enhancing Fiori Applications

SAP has also developed a number of tools using the Hana Cloud Platform (HCP) to allow easy customization of Fiori apps, something that was not a simple task. This video from the SAP HANA Academy site provides an overview of using the Web IDE (previously called River) to extend a SAP HCM Fiori application.
